Christoph Siegert

Christoph Siegert is an international photographer based in Hamburg, Germany. His visual language is characterised by deliberate composition and staging with unusual perspectives. Christoph Siegert is constantly developing new ways of presenting his core theme “People and their environment”.

Christoph Siegert has received numerous awards for his work, including Art Directors Club of Germany, International Color Awards Silver 2024, Deauville Green Awards Gold Film and has been voted one of the 200 World Best Advertising Photographers several times, most recently in 2023/24.

 He is a member of Member of BFF (Berufsverband freie Fotografen und Filmgestalter) , AoP (Association of Photographers, London), FreeLens.

Over the past 27 years, his work has been presented in over 30 solo and group exhibitions in Germany, Europe, Korea and China.

It was not until 2023 that his open work cycle “Was bleibt” was presented in collaboration with Elvie Barlach in the Barlachhalle K, Hamburg.

In 2024 he showed the series JOURNAL. In over 100 analog, color and b/w photographs, the exhibition pays homage to the heyday of photography in the international fashion and lifestyle magazines of the turn of the millennium.

His works can be found in private collections in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the USA.
